Application
Automatic softening point tester EX-820 is an analytical unit that automatically determines the softening point of petroleum asphalt, resin, hot melt, tar, coal pitch, oil, etc. complies with the petroleum asphalt softening point test specified in JIS K2207.
Feature
Determines the softening point of 4 samples at once. Two test parameters can be selected
- Water for softening point up to 80°C.
- Glycerol for softening point of more than 80°C.
The bath temperature is controlled by program to maintain the gradient of 5℃±0.5℃/min. This is a standard type of a Automatic softening point device, and can be applied in a wide range of application.
Process
Set the sample、start the measurement, the softened sample falls, the sensor detects. When it reaches the specified position, the temperature display stops and records, and then ends with a buzzer.
